Everything is set for Seymour Shaw Park (3:00 PM - Sun 3rd Aug) to host an exciting battle for the '08 TeleChoice Premier League title.
Yesterday the Sharks trashed the West Sydney Berries by 6-0 and they were ready to celebrate the Premiership ... if we didn't win today!
But we did win 3-2 Marconi Stallions in a dramatic fashion.
Around the 60th minute with us down by 0-1, the referee pointed to the penalty mark, considering that my clean cut was irregular. Marconi scored the 2nd which casted some shadows on our hopes to take the fight with the Sharks til the last day.
... but Wolves wouldn't go down without a fight and Christopher Price signed the 1-2 at 68th min and 2-2 with 14 minutes to go ... the 3-2 came with 5 minutes to the end. To compensate the earlier PK drama, i assisted Ilija Prenzoski for the 3rd goal, the one that gave us another week and another go at the title.
That was great ...
After the match we met the Stallions for a nice celebration with great fair-play from today's opponents, among which i could find my two "Timorese" countrymen Chris Nunes and Nahuel Arrarte.

Title race set for thrilling finale
Today we had a great game with a very important win.
This 3-0 win vs Sydney United placed us in the play-offs with still 2 games to go.
The regular season title is wide open for the last 2 rounds with us, Sutherland and Sydney Olympic separated by a single point. Also Manly Utd still have a chance to clinch the crown.
It couldn't be better for the 2008 TeleChoice Premier League fans.

A diferent reality
This week I had a new experience in my life.
I went to Keelong Juvenile Detention Center in NSW for a soccer clinic.
My pupils were boys under 18 years old, that have been convicted for crimes and have to serve sentences between 3 months to 5 years.
As part of the Detention Center program they are able to attend to many activities.
They have a school inside and they play sports as well during the week, as part of their reintegration on a better life to follow as the one who put there inside.
For me it was a new experience; participate in this clinic that made me want to write something.
All of us go through the adolescence, and when gets to a certain age, we all learn how to distinct the good from the bad.
We can have lots of fun when younger without need to get to the extreme.
That's something that will remain forever in our lives. To all young ones, stay away of trouble.
There's a wonderful world out there.

Felicitaciones, España !
As Portuguese and having Spain as my neighbor, for many times the rivalry between the two countries makes every game in every sport very fun to watch.
With Portugal out of the EURO in the quarter finals, I didn't have a favorite team to win. So following the games as I could, there were some good games to watch.
And being honest I think Spain deserved with the entire honor to win the European.
Playing good soccer from the start till the Final they deserve completely the trophy.
Just a word of friendship to someone that wasn’t selected to be part in the European, but is a player that doesn’t need any introductions-.

I'm talking about Raul, the captain of Real Madrid. I had the opportunity to meet him when went to Romania to play a charity game for Figo All Stars against the Romanian stars, Hagi and Popescu last month.
Well Raul wish you the best luck in the world and hope to follow many more games of you.
Muchas felicitaciones para todos en España.

Pienso que ahora Cristiano Ronaldo decide jugar en el campeonato del Campeón de Europa
